This role focuses on building and operating a scalable, secure, and high-performance commercial cloud platform that enables teams to develop, deploy, and manage applications efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate the lifecycle management of container platforms (e.g., OpenShift), treating infrastructure as code
- Develop and maintain automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
- Implement and manage core platform components, including networking (e.g., OVN-Kubernetes) and storage (e.g., OpenShift Data Foundation / Ceph)
- Optimize platform reliability, performance, and availability to support mission-critical workloads
- Implement GitOps-based workflows for cluster configuration and continuous delivery
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in cloud or platform engineering
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift (architecture and internals)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python or Bash)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Solid understanding of container platform networking (SDN/OVN) and storage solutions (Ceph/ODF)
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tooling
