Job Description:
- Assist in design and development of custom applications within ServiceNow platform to meet the specific needs of the business.
- Integration of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM Discovery and ITSM Asset Management modules to effectively manage IT infrastructure and assets related to business operations.
- Configuration and creation of ServiceNow workflows, forms, and automation rules to streamline IT processes.
- To Fix non-functional and non-compliant outcomes from the expected quality of the ITSM, ITOM and ITSM Asset processes in the ServiceNow platform.
- Implementation of best practices for IT service management, ITOM Discovery and Asset management within ServiceNow platform.
- Dev and Unit Testing to ensure the developed applications meet the defined requirements and are free from defects.
- Deployment of the developed applications into UAT and production environment.
- Support to once-a-year platform update
- Support to the current platform implementation
- System Health Performance Check
- Assist with other relevant activities.
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Expert in JavaScript Language and coding best practices
- Expert in SOLID principles of programming
- Master of Object-Oriented Programming Principles
- Has very good knowledge of infrastructure objects like WMI Query, SNMP and SSH
- A good knowledge of software ecosystem and its technical prerequisites (AJAX, Queueing Techniques, Asynchronous Methods)
- Experience of Implementation of software architecture patterns (Circuit breaker, CQRS, Controller Responder, MVC)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Coding standards and technology best practices
