Nursing Singapore Contract or Temp Icon Cancer Centre Singapore
We're looking for an Oncology Nurse who is passionate about the healthcare sector and wants to play a part in making a difference in the lives of patients. This is a 6 months Contract with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role.
This role is responsible for providing an advanced level of patient-centered nursing care by:
- Utilizing clinical skill, experience and education and to deliver timely, safe, evidence-based patient-centered clinical care in order to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
- Coordinating and evaluating patient care activities within a best practice framework.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure a comprehensive health assessment of patients.
- Promote continuity of care to enhance quality patient-centered care and patient experience.
- Plan and implement patient care and monitor/manage acute and chronic treatment toxicity.
- Educate and support patient/family/career throughout continuum of care.
- Act as patient advocate in relation to patients rights/knowledge/privacy.
- Ensure documentation is aligned with current legislation requirements.
- Ensure care is delivered according to protocols.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field with preferably 1-2 years experience in day oncology nursing.
- Certificate issued by SNB.
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
