Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day workplace, facilities, and corporate services operations of its Singapore office. This is a broad, hands-on role with a strong focus on facilities management, soft services, workplace operations, and corporate services. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance various responsibilities effectively. The candidate should not only be confident and resilient, but should be able to maintain a diplomatic and professional demeanor in order to manage a high performing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Singapore office, ensuring a professional, efficient, and well-maintained workplace environment.
  • Manage facilities and soft services, including cleaning, maintenance, security, pantry services, office supplies, mailroom/courier services, and other workplace requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, landlords, and building management, ensuring service levels and operational standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance, office repairs, workplace improvements, and other facilities-related projects.
  • Support broader corporate services and workplace operations, including office administration, procurement, access management, and employee-related workplace requirements.
  • Maintain relevant office policies, procedures, documentation, and vendor contracts.
  • Support business continuity, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and crisis management initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and regional teams on office operations, employee onboarding/offboarding, workplace requirements, and ad hoc projects.
  • Support the coordination of internal meetings, corporate events, and other office-based activities.
  • Monitor service delivery, operational expenditure, and vendor performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and workplace experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in office management, corporate real estate, or related fields, preferably in financial services or consulting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and people skills for working with teams at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in workplace strategy or facilities management is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work beyond standard hours if needed.
