Job Description

Introduction

Sino-SG Education Consultancy (SSEC) is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Administration Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is open to fresh Poly and ITE graduates and even O-Level holders, who are eager to learn and contribute to an educational environment. The ideal candidate will assist with filling out forms for school and government-related applications, scheduling and organizing class timetables, standing in classes and managing administrative paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Submission of school application documents and related admissions matters
  2. Communication with parents and students regarding school matters and lesson related arrangements
  3. Arranging students after school tutoring sessions on a weekly basis, confirming lesson times with teachers, and monitoring the progress with data entry of daily lessons
  4. Conducting up to 10 hours of listening lessons per week
  5. Assisting new students with enrolment related matters, such as student pass collection, bank account opening, SIM card arrangement, purchasing school uniforms, boarding check in, and orientation
  6. Scheduling parent teacher meeting appointments for students
  7. Downloading students report cards each semester
  8. Accompanying students to medical appointments, if needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • No prior experience required - training will be provided.
  • Fresh Poly or ITE graduates welcomed
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) is required to communicate with students, parents, and institutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer usage.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Responsible and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Other relevant information

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm with one hour lunch break Saturday, 9am to 6pm with one hour lunch break
  • Off days: Sunday and one weekday
