Ocean Operation Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of ocean freight customers and shipments in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements
• Handle permit declaration and customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Liaise with carriers, transporters, warehouses and customs to ensure timely and efficient shipment delivery
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and other required documentation
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide timey updates to customers regarding shipment status and any potential delays
• Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies
• Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reporting on shipment status and KPIs

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Logistics/Freight Forwarding
• With at least 2 years of logistics/freight forwarding experiences
• With good knowledge in import and export ocean shipment
• Proficient with MS Office
• Permit declarant an advantage
