Job Description & Requirements
- Assist elderly with therapy exercise and activities designed by occupational therapist to improve mobility and physical health
- Practice daily living skills with encouragement and motivation for the elderly
- Monitor resident progress and ensure treatment is done
- Assist with transfering of patient
- Setup equipment for therapy session and ensure area is clean and safe
- Observe and report elderly progress or challenges to the occupatonal therapist
- Support the occupational therapist during group therpy session
Requirements:
- WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
- min 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy
