Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Observability & Monitoring Engineer to help build and maintain hybrid cloud monitoring solutions across our enterprise environments. In this role, you'll design and implement end-to-end observability frameworkscovering metrics, logs, and alertsto ensure visibility, reliability, and performance of critical systems. You'll collaborate closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to drive proactive monitoring and advanced analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage hybrid cloud observability and monitoring platforms (on-prem and AWS).
  • Implement alerting and metrics dashboards across multiple environments and services.
  • Build advanced log analysis pipelines and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Design and maintain sophisticated custom dashboards using Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Enable long-term log retention and archiving strategies using S3 and ELK.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define observability standards and optimize performance monitoring.

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK.
  • Strong understanding of metrics collection, logging pipelines, and alerting frameworks.
  • Experience managing monitoring in hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments.

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices monitoring.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for observability automation.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar for custom automation or data parsing.
