Job Summary
The O-Level English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective English Language lessons in accordance with the approved Scheme of Work. The teacher will ensure students are well-supported through quality instruction, timely assessments, and consistent academic guidance to prepare them for the O-Level examinations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Language lessons aligned with the O-Level syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments to support student learning.
- Set assessment questions, examination papers, and marking guides.
- Mark assignments and assessments within the required time frame.
- Plan and conduct assessments to support and enhance student learning.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks to support the academic department.
- Apply varied teaching and assessment methods to improve lesson delivery.
- Stay updated on developments in the subject area, teaching methods, and resources.
- Prepare and submit a Module Review after each module taught.
Requirements
- Diploma or above, with a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
- Previous teaching experience in international schools or Singapore Government Schools is a strong advantage.
- Candidates with TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, PGDE qualifications, a Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, and/or IELTS/TOEFL results will have an added advantage.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Responsible, organised, and able to engage learners of different proficiency levels.
- Able to deliver lessons effectively based on the assigned schedule.

- Position Type: Part-Time
- Teaching Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am-12pm
