Position Title: Occupational Therapist Grade II
Location: Bright Hill
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 8:30AM - 6:00PM
Salary: $5,000 - $7,000
Job Description
- Provide Occupational Therapy services for assigned inpatient, outpatient, and home care caseloads.
- Provide coverage for assigned wards and ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct initial assessments and periodic reassessments for active rehabilitation and maintenance cases.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.
- Perform weekly reviews, treatment updates, and discharge planning.
- Follow up with patients under supervision.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and family meetings.
- Comply with clinical guidelines and ensure proper handover arrangements during leave coverage.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Ensure the safe use of rehabilitation equipment and report defects or incidents when required.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic carry-over.
- Provide caregiver training when necessary.
- Apply evidence-based assessments and treatment interventions under supervision.
- Handle daily billing and organize caseload distribution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including assessments, reassessments, treatment plans, memos, and incident reports in the Infocare system.
- Comply with Nursing Home Standards Guidelines and PDPA requirements.
- Participate in continuing professional development, in-service training, and community health education programmes.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining statistical information for regular reporting.
- Support patient engagement activities and observe referral trends.
Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Registered with AHPC and possess a valid Practising Certificate.
- Possess a valid BCLS + AED certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
- Experience in community care and aged care settings will be an advantage.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy or related fields will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to travel between clients homes when required.
- Experience with interRAI is required.
