Job Title: Nurse Manager
Position Summary: The Nurse Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating clinical services to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Reporting to both the Chief Operating Officer and the Medical Director, this role leads and supervises the nursing team, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with medical providers and staff to enhance patient experience, implement evidence-based practices, and uphold clinical excellence. Additionally, the Nurse Manager is responsible for the recruitment, training, continuous professional development, and performance evaluation of nursing staff. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Concierge Services Management:
- Oversee and enhance concierge services to deliver personalized, high-touch care for specific individuals or groups.
- Implement strategies to ensure exemplary service delivery and maximize patient satisfaction.
Clinical Operations & Compliance:
- Monitor and maintain the highest standard of patient care and nursing services.
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, implement infection control measures, and uphold best practices for patient safety.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and inspire the nursing team to foster a culture of excellence in clinical outcomes and patient experience.
- Encourage open communication and collaboration among internal and external teams.
- Oversee daily nursing activities, including scheduling, workload distribution, and staff supervision.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain efficiency and patient care quality.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff professional development.
Resource & Operational Optimization:
- Manage resources efficiently to optimize clinic operations and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.
- Continuously assess and enhance workflow processes to achieve optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Training & Development:
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top nursing talent.
- Provide orientation, mentorship, and continuous education to junior nurses and new hires.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practice, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.
Holistic Patient Care & Education:
- Ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care that meets both medical and comfort needs.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and caregivers to provide education and support.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary teamwork to enhance coordination and continuity of care.
Clinical Assistance & Inventory Management:
- Work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care and streamline clinical workflows.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure the availability of high-quality supplies and equipment.
Strategic Initiatives & Continuous Improvement:
- Drive innovation and quality improvement initiatives within the clinical setting.
- Lead efforts to enhance service excellence, patient safety, and overall clinic performance.
Other Responsibilities:
- Execute ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Advanced Diploma in Oncology Nursing preferred.
- 5-7 years of managerial experience in a high-end private outpatient clinic setting.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, patient-first mindset.
- Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare environments and implement best practices.
- Proficiency in clinical software and electronic health records.
