Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing team to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care to residents. Plan and manage nursing manpower, staff deployment, and duty rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Monitor residents care plans, clinical outcomes, and nursing documentation to ensure continuity and quality of care. Lead quality improvement initiatives, including infection prevention, audits, and incident investigations, while implementing corrective actions as necessary. Conduct regular ward rounds, addressing residents care needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Support the orientation, training, competency assessment, and professional development of nursing staff. Communicate effectively with residents, families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care. Assist with implementing new initiatives and improving clinical practices as directed by management. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Minimum 5 years of nursing experience. Candidates holding an Advanced Diploma are preferred. Experience in healthcare settings such as nursing homes or community care is advantageous. Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills. Good understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in clinical governance and quality improvement.
