To lead the nursing team and related healthcare workers in the ward, and be responsible for the day-to-day operational work flow in the Nursing Department
- Lead and oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care in accordance with organisational policies, MOH regulations, and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic care plans for clients with complex healthcare needs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Coordinate care transitions and referrals to ensure seamless continuity of care across healthcare and community settings.
- Engage clients, families, and caregivers in care planning, including Advance Care Planning (ACP), and promote active participation in care decisions.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff through clinical guidance, coaching, orientation, competency assessments, and continuing education.
- Plan and manage staffing, duty rosters, and resource allocation to ensure optimal workforce utilisation and service delivery.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, risk management, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient safety and care outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies, clinical guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals, healthcare providers, and community agencies to deliver integrated and coordinated care.
- Promote operational excellence through effective resource management, cost-conscious practices, and continuous service improvement.
- Support emergency preparedness and respond appropriately during public health emergencies or service disruptions.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support organisational and service objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Min Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience in acute healthcare or relevant settings
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory or senior staff role
