Job Summary

Lead and manage nursing and caregiving teams to deliver high-quality postnatal care, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and fostering a supportive, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of nursing and caregiving teams to maintain consistent, high-quality postnatal care delivery
  • Supervise and motivate nursing and care staff to uphold professional standards and deliver excellent service outcomes
  • Establish and implement nursing care protocols, SOPs, infection control, and hygiene standards aligned with SNB, MOH, and HCSA regulations
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to enhance staff competency and morale
  • Coordinate staff rostering, shift assignments, and manpower planning to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency
  • Develop and deliver onboarding and training programs for new nurses and maternity care assistants to ensure readiness and compliance
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work culture by facilitating effective communication among nurses, guest relations staff, management, and clients
  • Coordinate with management and external healthcare providers for medical attention or hospital transfers as needed
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation, patient records, and individualised care plans to support clinical decisions
  • Manage medical supplies, and ensure proper documentation and disposal in compliance with safety standards

Required competencies and certifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Practising Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an institution recognized by SNB

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in supervisory or managerial roles
  • Proven experience in team leadership, staff development, and performance management
  • Experience in maternity, obstetrics, or neonatal care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to professionally manage staff and client interactions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to lead by example
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required
