Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Physician based in Singapore at Singapore General Hospital. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine techniques, ensuring the safety and accuracy of radioactive treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The physician will participate in patient consultations, utilize advanced imaging technologies, and adhere to best practices in radiation safety and medical protocols. Additionally, contributions to clinical research and training healthcare professionals may be expected.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Nuclear Medicine, including diagnostic imaging and therapeutic applications
- Proficiency in general Medicine practices with a strong understanding of patient care
- Knowledge and experience in cross sectional imaging with an emphasis on nuclear imaging techniques
- Thorough understanding of Radiation Safety standards, protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaborative skills
- Medical degree with SMC registrable specialization in Nuclear Medicine
- A valid medical license to practice in Singapore or eligibility for licensing
- Experience in teaching or supervising medical trainees and involvement in clinical research is advantageous
