Job Description

Our client is a Precision engineering and semiconductor manufacturing industries . Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a NPI/Product Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new product, technology, and material development projects.
  • Apply engineering and materials knowledge to solve technical and product performance challenges.
  • Evaluate materials, surface treatments, coatings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Support product improvement, qualification, testing, and failure investigations.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Sales, suppliers, and customers to develop practical solutions.
  • Identify new applications and opportunities based on customer needs and technology trends.
  • Provide technical support for product introduction, cost evaluation, and business feasibility.
  • Stay updated on relevant technologies, materials, manufacturing methods, and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering or product development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in materials, chemistry, manufacturing processes, or surface engineering.
  • Experience with material selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
