NPD Quality Director/Senior Manager (Semicon Equipment)

Our client is a global technology and manufacturing organization specializing in high-precision equipment and advanced industrial solutions serving the semiconductor and electronics industry. With manufacturing and engineering operations across Asia, the company is undergoing continued expansion and innovation growth, and is looking for a senior quality leader to drive excellence across global New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, this role will lead the quality strategy and governance framework across the full New Product Development lifecycle from concept development through product launch and mass production readiness.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and customer-facing teams to establish robust quality systems, strengthen product reliability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites in Asia.

The Talent

• Proven leadership experience within semiconductor, precision engineering, or advanced manufacturing environments, with strong exposure to NPD/NPI quality and product industrialization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence both internal teams and external customers/suppliers across regional operations.
• Resourceful, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a less structured, fast-evolving environment - able to bring clarity, structure, and execution discipline to complex NPD activities.
• Experience driving cross-functional collaboration, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives from both operational and business strategy perspectives.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and China within a regional manufacturing setup.
