Job Description

A Business Development Manager's primary responsibility is to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding a company's market presence and revenue. They work on developing and implementing strategies for growth, including market research, lead generation, and building relationships with potential clients and partners. They also play a role in managing existing key accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Staying informed about market trends, industry events, and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
  • Lead Generation: Identifying and qualifying potential new clients and partners, often through networking and prospecting.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivating strong relationships with both existing and potential clients and partners.
  • Business Plan Development: Creating and implementing business development plans to achieve specific goals, such as expanding into new markets or increasing sales.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and terms with clients and partners.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration on business development efforts.
