Permanent Part-Time Delivery Driver (fixed shift)
You will handle the safe and timely delivery of our catered meals to customer locations across Singapore, ensuring every order arrives on schedule and in excellent condition to support a seamless catering experience and our continued business growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver catered meals and catering orders safely and punctually to customer locations across Singapore
- Load and unload catering bags and equipment into and out of the company vehicle
- Plan and follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time order fulfilment
- Handle food with care during transit, maintaining cleanliness, temperature care, and presentation
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, reporting any defects
- Represent the company professionally at each delivery point and confirm order handover with customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Coordinate closely with kitchen production and operations teams to ensure smooth, on-time dispatch
- Follow food-transport hygiene practices in line with SFA requirements
- Report any delays, incidents, or accidents promptly in accordance with company procedures
Required competencies and certifications
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
- Valid Class 3 driving licence preferred Class 3A will be considered (Class 3C is not sufficient for our vehicle)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred
- Physically able to lift and carry catering loads to load and unload the vehicle
- Good working knowledge of Singapore roads and delivery routes
- Punctual, reliable, and customer-oriented
- Able to commit to a 5-days-on / 2-days-off schedule (Monday-Friday)
- Daily shift starts at 12:30am, finishing at 7:00am - 7:30am (6.5-7 hours)
- Need to have own mode of transport to Tuas
Employment details
- Part-Time . $14.5/hour (base)
- 5 days-on / 2 days-off (Monday-Friday, weekends off)
- 6.5-7 hour shifts daily . 12:30am start, finishing between 7:00am and 7:30am depending on delivery volume (approx. 34 hours/week)
- Overtime paid when required (1.5x) beyond 44 hours per week
- Public holidays paid when scheduled (2x) or a day off in lieu
- Company vehicle provided for shift (petrol and ERP expenses covered)
- 6 Days Annual Leave provided (Permanent Part-Timer), pro-rated and increasing with length of service
- CPF contributions accordingly
