Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage NPI team covering:
  1. PDP Gate 2 & 3 Support
  2. PDP Gate 4 & 5 Owner (Scale-Up)
  3. Sample Preparation for PDP Gate 4 & 5
  4. Customer Development (CD) Support for Stage B
  5. Customer Development (CD) Owner for Stage C (Scale-Up)
  6. Sample Preparation for CD Stage C
  7. Mentoring and Coaching Team
  • Product Transfer
  • New Machine Development (As part of PDP process)
  • 2nd Source Qualification (Raw Material)
  • COGS/Cost Reduction
  • Remain abreast of technical developments in the field; obtain information through literature and patents. Actively participate in aligning on best practices across various manufacturing sites as well as lead benchmarking activities to ensure current processes and methodologies are ahead of competitors offering similar products or services
  • Provide technical advice, expertise, and troubleshooting training & consultation to engineers and to current and potential customers regarding product usage, flexibility, and applications

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or above (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical & Electronics, or Materials Science).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience in leading or managing a team.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly preferred. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably managing a small team. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Attentive and effective listener. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and driven, with a strong sense of initiative. Proven experience in resolving a wide range of development and manufacturing issues. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in data-driven problem-solving, including the use of statistical methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong capability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
