Job Summary
You will design, deploy, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure, troubleshoot network issues, and collaborate with customers and teams to deliver high-quality connectivity solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, test, and commission wired and wireless network infrastructure to meet client requirements
- Deploy, configure, and support enterprise WiFi systems, routers, switches, and firewalls for optimal network performance
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and TCP/IP networks to ensure reliable connectivity
- Conduct network assessments, site surveys, and WiFi coverage optimisation to enhance network efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve network performance, connectivity, configuration, and hardware issues promptly
- Configure and maintain network equipment from vendors including TP-Link Omada, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, and other enterprise platforms
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and service reports to support project delivery and maintenance
- Collaborate closely with customers, project teams, and vendors to ensure successful network monitoring implementation
- Provide preventive maintenance and technical support for deployed network systems to minimise downtime
- Ensure all network installations comply with company standards and industry best practices
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field
- At least 1 years of hands-on networking experience configuring and managing enterprise networks
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching, DHCP, DNS, wireless networking, and VPN technologies
- Mobile App knowledge
- Hands-on experience configuring enterprise routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex network issues in diverse environments
- Team player
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with TP-Link Omada, Ubiquiti UniFi, MikroTik, Cisco, Fortinet, or Aruba network equipment
- Skills in enterprise WiFi design and optimisation to improve network coverage and performance
- Knowledge of network security and firewall configuration to safeguard network infrastructure
- Basic Linux or Windows Server administration experience to support network services
Other Information
- Location: Singapore
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30-5.30 PM
- Salary: SGD 3,500-4,000 per month, commensurate with experience
