Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on network products and services.
- Facilitate the expansion, upgrades, and rollouts of new network infrastructure including hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on the implementation of new products/features and provide technical support.
- Assist with presales activities related to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults/issues promptly within the network scope.
- Analyze network performance and implement proactive measures to enhance efficiency through software and hardware upgrades.
- Prepare statistical reports on network and equipment performance.
- Engage proactively with engineering teams to recommend corrective actions and prevent incidents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in cloud or DevOps environments and systems operations.
- Working knowledge of container technologies and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) and Linux-based operating systems.
- Familiarity with installation and upgrade procedures for routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
- Understanding of Quantum Key Distribution and encryption technologies.
- Knowledge of Internet routing protocols and TCP/IP technologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for fault isolation and resolution.
- Proficiency in documentation and infrastructure investigation for security and performance improvements.
- Basic knowledge of office applications (e.g., Excel, Visio, Word).
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and working with stakeholders across all levels.
- Ability to write and implement policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for infrastructure management.
