Job Description

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team to support cutting-edge network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced performance. Dive into hands-on maintenance, upgrades, and technical support for innovative products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on network products and services.
  • Facilitate the expansion, upgrades, and rollouts of new network infrastructure including hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the implementation of new products/features and provide technical support.
  • Assist with presales activities related to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults/issues promptly within the network scope.
  • Analyze network performance and implement proactive measures to enhance efficiency through software and hardware upgrades.
  • Prepare statistical reports on network and equipment performance.
  • Engage proactively with engineering teams to recommend corrective actions and prevent incidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems from a recognized institution.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in cloud or DevOps environments and systems operations.
  • Working knowledge of container technologies and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) and Linux-based operating systems.
  • Familiarity with installation and upgrade procedures for routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
  • Understanding of Quantum Key Distribution and encryption technologies.
  • Knowledge of Internet routing protocols and TCP/IP technologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for fault isolation and resolution.
  • Proficiency in documentation and infrastructure investigation for security and performance improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of office applications (e.g., Excel, Visio, Word).
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and working with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to write and implement policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for infrastructure management.
