NETWORK SPECIALIST / ENGINEER

The Network Specialist / Engineer role is to provide technical service to our enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will be deployed for onsite implementation work and will be on a 5-day work week schedule. To provide level 1 and 2 network support for our enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:

. Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
. Install and support networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems from vendors likeCisco Systems.
. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues (latency, packet loss, outages).
. Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols(OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and IP addressing.
. Implement and maintain network security (ACLs,VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
. Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure and application support.
. Maintain network documentation, diagrams, andSOPs.
. Provide L1/L2 support and handle incident/problem management.

Desired Skills & Experience:

. Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
. Experience with network hardware (Cisco, PaloAlto etc.).
. Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNtechnologies.
. Proficiency in network monitoring tools.
. Analytical problem-solving and communicationskills.
. Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIANetwork+) is a plus.

Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
. CCNA Certification (mandatory) CCNP is a plus.
