Network Security Engineer

Our client, a leading Global Cyber Security Distributor is recruiting for a Network Security Engineer (post sales)

Job Location: Singapore.

Responsibilities:

. Work closely with the sales and product teams to support solution design, implementation, and customer success

. Provide post-sales technical support, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network security solutions

. Act as the technical point of contact for customers during and after implementation

. Conduct system testing, acceptance, and documentation to ensure successful delivery

. Assist in resolving escalated technical issues and provide timely root-cause analysis

. Deliver knowledge transfer, technical training, and best-practice guidance to customers

. Perform any other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

. Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT security sector, with a technical background in network engineering, particularly in firewall implementation/deployment.

. Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS

. Proficient in firewall solutions such as [specific firewalls, e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet].

. Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and core principles of network security.

. Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.

. Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP model, network security, and related protocols.

. Palo Alto certified is a mandatory requirement.

. Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
