Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical resolution of onsite infrastructure faults, managing the lifecycle of incidents from initial report to final closure while maintaining meticulous documentation within ticketing systems.

• Provide high-level centralized technical support for Network, Cyber, and Server environments across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring minimal business disruption.

• Perform preventive maintenance and hardware inventory audits to proactively identify vulnerabilities and ensure the longevity of on-premise infrastructure.

• Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for every fault case, taking full ownership of restoration timelines and service quality.

• Act as a senior technical touchpoint, handling complex escalations beyond L1/L2 capabilities and coordinating with Ops Managers or Technical Service Managers (TSMs) on critical issues.

• Participate in a 24x7 rotational standby roster and perform scheduled after-hours or weekend interventions to support project-based upgrades and emergency repairs.

• Drive team-wide competency by training L1/L2 engineers on legacy products and modern security firewall technologies, fostering a culture of continuous technical growth.

Job Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in resolving on-premise infrastructure issues involving enterprise-grade Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.

• Deep technical proficiency in Checkpoint Firewall administration, integrated with a strong foundation in complex Switching and Routing protocols.

• Extensive experience managing and troubleshooting secondary security perimeters including Palo Alto and Fortinet solutions.

• Possess valid professional certifications in Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent security products to meet high-level client compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a 24x7 standby environment, with the flexibility to handle rotational shifts and high-pressure troubleshooting scenarios.
