Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer (L2) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network security operations and the ability to handle L2-level troubleshooting and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to network security incidents
- Perform L2-level troubleshooting for firewalls, VPNs, and security devices
- Manage and maintain network security infrastructure
- Investigate security alerts and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with L1 teams for escalations and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- Prepare reports and documentation for incidents and changes
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network security technologies (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Hands-on experience with security tools and monitoring systems
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Experience in incident response and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Security+) are a plus
