Network Security Engineer

Looking for skilled and motivated Security Engineer with 3 years hands-on experience with implementing and managing F5 and firewall solutions,

along with a strong understanding of Azure cloud platform and security principles.

Key Responsibilities

. Security Implementation & Management:

o Deploy and maintain F5 system with experience in LTM, WAF, API

o Deploy and maintain Azure Cloud security with experience in APIM gateways

o Implementation, and maintenance of network security solutions, with focus on Cisco FTD, FMC and Firewalls.

. Security Policy & Configuration:

o Implement, and enforce granular security policies on F5 , firewalls and APIM gateways

o Perform regular security policy rule base reviews, cleanups, and optimization to ensure a strong security posture and network performance.

o Integrate and configure F5 solutions to enforce application delivery and security policies, including rules.

. Documentation & Collaboration:

o Documentation for diagrams. configurations, and standard operating procedures.

o Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies align with business objectives.

Qualifications

. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a network security or engineering role.

. Technical Skills:

o Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM, WAF/ASM/API, and APM.

o Proven experience with Azure cloud platforms security, including NSG and APIM

o Implementation knowledge of firewall solution and management security, including FTD and FMC.

o Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).

o Familiarity with automation, cloud security is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred)

. Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security

. F5 Certified Administrator or F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).

. Other security certifications like CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
