Responsibilities:
ITSM/ITIL Operational Support
- Perform daily operations aligned with ITSM/ITIL processes, including incident handling, change implementation, and problem management activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide timely updates and ensure smooth execution of operational tasks.
System Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and measure availability, health, and performance of network and security systems proactively.
- Identify irregularities or performance degradation and implement corrective actions to improve service stability and availability.
Service Continuity & Recovery
- Support and participate in business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including backup/restore validations and DR exercises when required.
Network Configuration & Maintenance
- Configure, test, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in network technology refresh projects, device replacements, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Support migration activities across data centre and cloud environments as part of operational or projectdriven initiatives.
Network Security Operations
- Administer nextgeneration firewall and security platforms, including configuration updates, rule tuning, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across network and security layers.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including SOPs, MOPs, network diagrams, and technical workbooks.
- Support knowledgesharing initiatives and provide technical insights to internal teams.
Certification & Skills Development
- Pursue and attain relevant certifications required for vendor partnerships or technical capability enhancement.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Experience in configuring and administering network and security platforms such as:
- Palo Alto firewalls (PANOS, Panorama, Prisma Access / SDWAN)
- Cisco network devices (routers, switches, wireless controllers)
- Check Point, Peplink, Fortinet, or similar network security technologies
- Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking fundamentals, routing, switching, and traffic flow analysis.
- Handson experience in network migration, tech refresh, and cloudnetwork integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues using structured rootcause analysis.
- Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL operational methodologies.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, PCNSE, NSE, AWS, Aviatrix) are advantageous.
- Prior experience in network operations, network security, or systems integration is preferred.
