Network Provisioning Manager – Subsea Optical Services
We are looking for an experienced Network Provisioning Manager to lead the delivery of high‑capacity subsea optical services (lit wavelengths and spectrum) across global fibre infrastructure. This is a pivotal customer‑facing role, acting as the central point of coordination between clients, internal engineering teams, and external carriers to ensure seamless, end‑to‑end service delivery.
The Role
- You will own the full provisioning lifecycle across both On‑Net and Off‑Net environments, coordinating complex multi‑party deliveries spanning subsea systems, landing stations, POPs and terrestrial backhaul.
- You will ensure services are delivered on time, tested thoroughly, and handed over ready for operations while maintaining clear, proactive communication with customers throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer contact for service delivery and lifecycle management
- Coordinate end‑to‑end provisioning across owned and third‑party network infrastructure
- Manage delivery across multiple carriers, POPs, ILAs and landing stations
- Oversee field activity including Smart Hands, engineers, cross‑connects and fibre presentation
- Schedule and align provisioning, testing and acceptance activities
- Ensure operational readiness, monitoring, and documentation prior to handover
- Track delivery progress, manage risks, and escalate issues to protect SLAs
About You
- Proven experience in telecoms provisioning, ideally within subsea or carrier environments
- Strong understanding of optical transport, lit services, and multi‑carrier delivery models
- Experience coordinating On‑Net and Off‑Net services across complex global networks
- Skilled in managing third‑party suppliers, field engineers and access providers
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple concurrent deliveries
- Excellent customer engagement and stakeholder management skills
