ViewQwest is a Singapore-headquartered service provider delivering connectivity, managed network, and security services across Southeast Asia. Our Managed Services team supports enterprise customers in sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, government, and financial services, managing distributed network environments with hundreds to thousands of devices across the region.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and service availability. You will play a critical role in ensuring service reliability while delivering excellent support to our business clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end service management, continuously monitoring network systems and alerts
  • Ensure network security, stability, and performance monitoring across the organization
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to manage and secure network products and services
  • Handle Tier 2 escalations and troubleshoot complex customer issues
  • Troubleshoot IP services and networks, ensuring timely resolution within SLA targets (MTTR & QoS)
  • Support improvements and enhancements to the network infrastructure
  • Manage the integration of new network technologies
  • Maintain and update VPN, WLAN, WAN, and LAN systems
  • Deliver customer support via email, phone, and in-person interactions
  • Communicate service schedules and updates to network users
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incident and problem resolutions

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Strong interest in internet technologies (routing, switching, ISP network infrastructure)
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotating shift environment (e.g., 8am–5pm, 11am–8pm)
  • Ability to support after-hours emergency troubleshooting when required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in an ISP environment is an advantage
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP) are a plus
