Job Description:
- 10+ years experience.
- PM experience in supporting or managing large scale projects for technology infrastructure services.
- Experience in managing project budgets with good understanding of P&L, Cash Flow forecasting and resource cost management.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders with good communication skills.
- Lead, manage and implement projects to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables.
- Assist with regulatory / compliance requirements and business needs relating to the project.
- Support management of project budget and approvals using approved templates.
- Assessment of infrastructure requirements dependencies, constraints, and migration strategies working with the various technology SME's.
- Maintaining good relationship with stakeholders, users, and vendors, etc.
- Support project processes, documentation, progress reporting, status meeting and escalation effectively.
- Identification of resources needed and working with various technology departments to assign individual roles & responsibilities.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders regularly and produce status update reports and minutes as required.
- Experience with data center projects is desired.
- Role is required to support weekend change events.
1. Role Focus
- Position is primarily for data center expansion.
- Hands-on Project Management experience.
- Direct data center experience is NOT mandatory.
- Managing large-scale projects in the CTI space
- Minimum 10 years experience required.
2. Technical Expectations
- Candidate needs a broad, all-rounder technical understanding, especially:
- Data center basics
- Basic networking knowledge
- General infrastructure understanding
- Not looking for deep technical specialists.
- Ability to drive and manage DC expansion projects is key.
3. Project Management
- Methodology: Primarily Waterfall.
- Agile understanding helpful but not mandatory.
- Experience with Jira preferred but not required.
4. Screening Criteria (Key Things to Look For)
Must-haves:
- Understanding of data center fundamentals, including:
- Cooling methodologies
- How a data center is built from scratch
- Some technical background (generalist-level).
- Ability to manage large-scale infra / DC expansion projects.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with Jira or Agile.
5. Financial Management
- Financial tracking will be done using Excel-based tools.
Additional Notes
- Looking for a strong PM fundamentals + enterprise/banking background are enough.
- Role focuses more on coordination, planning, and project leadership than technical deep dives.
