We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with a valid CCNP certification to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high network availability, security, and performance across LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, and hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure projects and operational activities.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
- Support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity services.
- Administer and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control mechanisms.
- Perform network monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Support high-availability network environments and disaster recovery requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to resolve network-related issues.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.
- Participate in project deployments, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 network support and participate in on-call support when required.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, governance, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- CCNP Enterprise certification (active certification preferred).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in network administration, implementation, or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of: Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switching Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN technologies Network security fundamentals Wireless networking technologies TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS
- Hands-on experience with firewall platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco Firepower.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and automation tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP Enterprise (mandatory/preferred)
- CCIE, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Palo Alto PCNSE, or cloud networking certifications would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting government, defence, banking, or highly regulated environments is a plus.
