As an Infra Network Engineer, you will troubleshoot, resolve, and proactively manage network and infrastructure issues to ensure high availability, performance, and security across enterprise and data center environments. You will also mentor junior engineers, participate in incident management, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
What will you do
- Analyse incidents and technical issues that impact infrastructure operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issues of varying complexity from moderate to high
- Own escalated incidents from Level 1 engineers through to closure ensuring timely updates and resolution
- Identify early warning signs or performance declines after upgrades updates or maintenance activities
- Actively participate in the incident management process ensuring adherence to SLAs and producing incident reports when required
- Execute routine administration configuration and support tasks according to established guidelines
- Review and implement change requests for minor network changes or upgrades
- Perform impact analysis for planned network maintenance executing failovers where required to ensure service continuity
- Apply processes from infrastructure upgrade plans ensuring smooth rollouts with minimal disruption
- Maintain and update network documentation to reflect changes in infrastructure design or traffic flows
- Produce new documents and procedures to support repeatable routine tasks
- Update incident management systems with escalated cases and resolution details
- Mentor and guide Level 1 engineers helping them develop troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Collaborate with internal and external teams escalating issues when necessary and ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree or equivalent with 2-6 years in IT/networking
- Advanced Routing & Switching, Wired/Wireless networks, Network Security (ACL, Firewall, VPN, ISE), Performance Monitoring
- Expertise in 1-2 domains from Data Center, Enterprise Network, or Security
- Minimum Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/ Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Due to project sensitivity, we can only consider Singapore Citizen

- Data Center Network: Nexus Switches (7K, 9K), NX-OS (OTV, vPC, VxLAN, Fabric-Path), Cisco ACI (SD-DC, L2/L3 Fabrics, VMM Integration, L4-L7 Services)
- Enterprise Network - Wired: 2/3-Tier Architectures, MP-BGP, MPLS-VPN, Network Access Control (802.1x, Profiling)
- Enterprise Network - Wireless: Radio Design, Site Survey, Wireless Security, Rogue AP Detection, Antenna Design
- Software Defined Access: VxLAN, SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center, APIC-EM
- Security: NGFW/NGIPS, Cisco ISE, PKI Infrastructure, Stealth Watch, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Baseline
