We are seeking a
Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-level network infrastructure in a high-tech manufacturing / smart factory environment. This role is hands-on and project-driven, focusing on both traditional IT networking and integration with OT/IoT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Design & Implementation Deploy and manage Cisco-based wired, wireless, and VPN networks; configure VLANs, firewalls, and security controls.
- Operations & Troubleshooting Monitor performance, resolve complex issues, perform firmware/security updates, and ensure high uptime.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance Implement network security best practices, firewalls, NAC, VPN solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443).
- IoT & OT Integration Support connectivity for SCADA, PLCs, and IoT devices in a smart factory setup.
- Project Execution Lead network-related projects such as new site setups; coordinate vendors and document designs/configurations.
- Collaboration & Support Work with cross-functional IT/OT teams, provide escalation support, and guide junior engineers when required.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 57+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, ideally in manufacturing or large enterprise environments.
- Excellent expertise in:
- Cisco networking (Switches, Routers, VLANs, VSS)
- Firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto)
- NAC, VPN, wireless controllers, access points
- Familiarity with IoT/Industry 4.0 protocols and ITOT integration.
- Network certifications (CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent).
- Good troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
