Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to ensure maximum uptime.
• Implement and support network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention, and endpoint protection.
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Collaborate with IT team members to resolve user connectivity and system access issues.
• Perform routine network monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and incident reports.
• Provide technical support for hardware/software upgrades and network projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Support role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/HP switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux networking environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+) preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
