Network Engineer (Data Center - Day 2 Support)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our Day 2 operations support team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and managing network infrastructure, primarily within data center environments. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for network operations in data center environments
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and software systems
• Work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure network availability
• Participate in root cause analysis and incident resolution
• Implement configuration changes in accordance with change management policies
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching products
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies is advantageous:

- VMware vCenter Server and ESXi

- NetApp AFF / FAS

- Dell PowerEdge and HP ProLiant servers

- VMware vSAN, VxRail, Nutanix, or Cisco HyperFlex

- Microsoft Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)

- Backup solutions such as NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam

- Cisco UCS platforms (B-series, E-series blade servers, C-series rack servers), UCS Fabric Interconnects /

UCS Manager

Additional Consideration:
