Network Engineer (Contract)

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• CCNP certification is a must.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• In-depth knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and protocols.
• Excellent hands-on experience on enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, DNS, network monitoring, IPS and DDOS.
• Experience on Project implementation, network design and documentation.
• Experience with cloud networking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN networks
• Monitor network performance
• Install, configure, and support enterprise network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, load balancers, IPS)
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and backups
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices
• Manage and co-ordinate with vendor on project implementation.
• Remote support function to Regional Offices.
