Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer to support the deployment and maintenance of enterprise networking and security solutions. The role involves assisting with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco SD-WAN devices (vEdge/cEdge) and supporting Palo Alto firewall deployments, including basic policy and NAT configuration through Panorama. The engineer will provide on-site and remote support for branch rollouts, hardware replacements, and link validations, while coordinating with senior engineers and vendor TAC for advanced issues.
- Assist in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco SD-WAN devices (vEdge/cEdge routers)
- Perform basic configurations on vManage such as attaching templates, monitoring alarms, and troubleshooting connectivity
- Support Palo Alto firewall deployments including initial setup, interface configuration, NAT, security rules.
- Work with Panorama for policy push and basic centralized management tasks.
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware replacements, and link validation.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and vendor TAC for advanced troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation, implementation checklists, and site reports after each deployment.
- Provide remote/field support for branch rollouts and upgrades.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and critical incident response as required
- Support in documentation, reports and performance updates.
- Occasional travel to Singapore offshore islands for onsite support requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in networking/security build and field support
- Basic understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, static routes).
- Hands-on exposure to Cisco SD-WAN (vManage GUI, device onboarding, templates).
- Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls (security policies, NAT, HA basics).
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for deployment/maintenance.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Telecom, or equivalent.
- Certifications (good to have): Cisco CCNA/CCNP Enterprise (in progress or completed)/Palo Alto PCNSA (preferred)
