Network Engineer (2-Year Renewable Contract)

Responsibilities

Network and Firewall Support:

. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network and firewall hardware and software.

. Monitor network and firewall performance, troubleshoot issues, and support resolution of outages.

. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching on network infrastructure.

. Support LAN/WAN operations and ensure consistent connectivity across sites.

. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and standard procedures.

. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors or stakeholders.

. Track and maintain inventory of network and firewall-related assets under the Network Team.

Requirements

. Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

. Minimum 3 years of experience or internship in network engineering or IT support preferred.

. CCNA certification preferred

. Strong understanding of WAN, LAN, and network security

. Experience with Cisco networking technologies and/or Fortinet firewalls is an advantage

. Basic knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and tools.

. Familiarity with firewall technologies and basic network troubleshooting.

. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

. Good verbal and written communication skills.
