Network and Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

. Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud network environments

. Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices

. Monitor network performance and ensure smooth operations at project sites

. Prepare for commissioning, decommissioning, and technology refresh activities for network devices

. Perform preventive maintenance, patching, and firmware upgrades

. Monitor and respond to cyber security threats and incidents

. Manage security tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and XDR

. Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues

. Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and incident reports

. Support implementation of cyber security controls for cloud and on-premises environments

. Support deployment of new security solutions and infrastructure enhancements

. Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, government agencies, and project stakeholders

. Provide support and maintenance for network infrastructure and end users

Requirements

. Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field

. Experience in network and cyber security operations

. Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall technologies

. Familiarity with security tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and XDR is an advantage

. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

. Good communication and stakeholder management skills

. Able to work independently and as part of a team
