The Network Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing network events, overseeing operational changes, and ensuring network stability across enterprise environments. This role focuses on event management, incident triage, and operational oversight of network changes while adhering to firm-wide standards and governance policies. Candidates should have foundational knowledge of networking protocols, monitoring tools, and IT Service Management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network dashboards and logs to identify service impacts and initiate triage efforts.
- Perform Level 1 incident triage and escalate issues as needed.
- Oversee network change activities.
- Facilitate escalation to NOC and Change leadership teams during incidents.
- Document outage impacts, maintain knowledge repositories, and ensure data quality in incident tickets.
- Interpret monitors, dashboards, traffic captures, and logs using monitoring tools.
- Participate in global follow-the-sun operations, including shifts on weekends/public holidays.
- Ensure compliance with Incident and Problem Management policies and governance standards.
