Role Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Application Engineer to support the migration and modernisation of legacy data pipelines to a modern ETL and technology stack.

The role will involve working with existing applications and data pipelines, supporting re-platforming activities and developing modern solutions while ensuring stability, quality and adherence to engineering standards.

Must Have

• Solid understanding of data pipelines and their SDLC.
• Proven experience in legacy migration / re-platforming.
• Proficient in C# (.NET Framework v4.7 and above, .NET Core).
• Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum / Kanban).
• Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD.

Good to Have

• Experience with ETL tooling such as BizTalk, Informatica or equivalent.
• Experience with Python / Databricks.
• Experience with containerization platforms, such as OpenShift.
• Knowledge of AWS services including S3, API Gateway and RDS.
• Experience with distributed systems and real-time messaging platforms, such as Kafka.
