.NET Developer |Leading Banking Client

We are initiating the decommissioning of our Murex trading platform for the Bonds business, transitioning to our primary front office platform, Orchestrade, which is already in use for other asset classes. This project focuses on migrating European Government Bonds, Sovereign, Supranational and Agency debt, Credit Primary, and Credit Secondary business scopes globally, all currently booked in Murex.

Our goal is to replicate Murex functionalities within Orchestrade and ensure all processes meet business needs. Position, P&L, and risk management will be migrated to a standalone application called RPS Bond. The scope includes replicating Murex functionalities into Orchestrade/RPS and migrating data and trades.

Collaborating closely with our Paris head office team, the Senior .NET Developer will establish the foundation of a development team in Singapore. This team will be dedicated to the project and part of a multi-site project team. The role involves developing code under modern standards, with potential cloud-readiness.

Qualifications and Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 8 years of software development experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with C#, particularly modern, cross-platform .NET
• Strong understanding of advanced C# features like async/await and dependency injection
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
• Experience with development tools such as Jenkins, GIT, SVN, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
• Ability to analyze code, understand execution flow, and debug without access to a debugger
• Familiarity with the dotnet CLI and maintaining integration and unit tests
• Strong knowledge of both Windows and Linux, including shell scripting
• Good knowledge of Transact SQL and Entity Framework Core
• Experience with backend stacks and Agile methodology organization

Additionally, knowledge of the following would be beneficial:

• An understanding of finance and financial markets, particularly fixed income and money market products
• Familiarity with risk management concepts and market data
