What You Will Do

  • Able to apply Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), and or Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and or Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and or Radiographic Testing (RT) interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results in accordance with procedures.
  • Familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods in which certified and as directed.
  • Perform temper etch inspections in accordance with approved specifications and job instruction sheet to verify heat-treated parts meet quality requirements and identify any evidence of overheating, burns, or other abnormalities.
  • Able to navigate and interpret job instruction sheet.
  • Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
  • Set up, standardize, and operate various NDT tooling and equipment, ensuring valid and accurate test results.
  • Perform routine calibration and servicing of test media and equipment.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related discipline.
  • Possess experience performing Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT) in an aerospace environment and at least 2 years of experience working with aircraft structures, engines, and/or components, or an acceptable combination of training and experience.
  • Possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A.
  • Possess basic knowledge of product manufacturing, inspection technology and aircraft engine maintenance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Possess good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and possess working knowledge of SAP.
  • Good team player with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to display Continuous Improvement and multi-tasking competencies.
  • Candidates with prior NDT experience in Aviation sector is preferred.
