Job Summary
You will perform detailed inspections as a Level II Inspector, ensuring accurate data reporting, maintaining safety standards, and communicating effectively with customers and supervisors to support quality management processes.
Responsibilities
- Follow the ICO Quality Management System to maintain consistent inspection standards
- Maintain integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality throughout the inspection process
- Conduct toolbox talks and verify the proper working condition of personal protective equipment (PPE) for each crew member
- Review Work Orders and communicate with customers or ICO supervisors to resolve any discrepancies
- Inspect and verify the working condition and calibration validity of Testing, Measuring, and Monitoring Equipment (TMME)
- Set up, standardize, and verify TMME to ensure accurate measurements
- Check the working condition of grinders and other non-calibrated equipment used during inspections
- Perform inspection parameter checks and document findings in the Daily Activity Log
- Clean, inspect, and mark tools according to the Work Order requirements
- Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results using ICO or customer-provided templates
- Record any waivers in the Daily Activity Log and obtain signatures from the customer's representative
- Report inspection data and results accurately as observed during inspections
- Proofread and authenticate final inspection reports by signing them
- Submit error-free inspection reports within 48 hours of completing inspections
- Ensure the safe conduct of all crew members during inspection activities
- Communicate with customers regarding incomplete Work Orders, procedures, or drawings needed for inspections
- Inform ICO supervisors promptly when customers provide new or revised procedures
- Handover responsibilities clearly to new inspectors when crew members are replaced
Authority
- Exercise stop work authority immediately upon observing unsafe conditions
- Stop work if independence, impartiality, or confidentiality of the inspection process is at risk
