Work Location: Jurong (Transport provided)
Working hours : 7.25am to 5.00pm , 5 days
Responsibilities:
- Finite Element Analysis and Vibration. Utilize ANSYS to carry out accurate modeling and analysis of vessel structures
- Global Analysis of ship structure
- Hydrodynamic loading
- Refine model and provide suggestions on how to optimize the design for weight savings.
- Structural Design and Modelling.
- Conceptualize ship and deck structure drawings and carry out calculations
- Perfom 3D modeling in Aveva Marine software.
Requirements:
- Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, or equivalent
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Vibration studies and analysis, experience in modeling and running simulations
- Knowledge of international design codes, Classification and Statutory Rules and Regulations
- 3D modeling skills using 3D CAD software will be an advantage.
