Perform review of structural drawings and stability documents for ship design and offshore installations, according to applicable rules and regulations
Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure contract requirements are met.
Provide technical assistance (troubleshoot problems) and attend to clients enquiries on projects.
Provide supervision including coaching and training for new hires / junior engineers.
Check and validate design review work performed by junior engineers (where applicable).
Support Equipment & Material Certification team and Consultancy Services team in drawing review and inspection work, as and when required.
Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of time & expenses sheets.
Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years relevant working experience in related field.
Familiarity with class rules and international regulations within area of specialization: Hull, Machinery, Electrical / Automation, Safety, Stability / TLO.
