The Role

As a Cluster HR Business Partner (Sea Logistics), you'll be the bridge between people and business. You'll stand shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders, employees, and stakeholders,not as a distant advisor, but as a hands-on partner who knows when to speak up, when to listen, and when to test the waters.

This role is about balance: being discreet yet decisive, collaborative yet firm, analytical yet empathetic. You'll be the middle person who keeps relationships strong, ensures compliance with local labor regulations, and helps shape a workforce that's ready for the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Collaborate with Sea Logistics leaders to understand strategic objectives and workforce needs. Be the trusted HR point of contact, ensuring recruitment, development, and retention align with business goals.

• Employee Relations: Act as the middle manresolving conflicts, fostering trust, and building a culture of accountability and respect.

• Performance & Development: Drive performance management processes, align individual objectives with company goals, and support organizational development initiatives.

• Compensation & Analytics: Work with compensation teams to ensure competitiveness, manage reviews, and use data-driven insights to guide decisions.

• Employer Branding: Strengthen KN's reputation in Singapore and Malaysia through authentic, grounded employer branding initiatives.

• Process Improvement: Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline HR processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 5-8 years in HR, with strong exposure to employee relations and business partnering.

• Industry Knowledge: Comfortable across industries, with a plus if you've worked in freight forwarding or logistics.

• Skills & Traits:

  • Collaborative, smart, and proactive,but never a snob.

  • Mature judgment, knowing when to test waters and when to stand firm.

  • Tech-savvy, open to process improvement, and confident with analytics.

  • Discreet, ethical, and grounded ,someone who respects the nature of Sea Logistics.
