Audition for Musical

Checkpoint Theatre is looking for an actor for our 2026 Musical.

Requirements:

Actor should have the ability to deliver nuanced and naturalistic performances, speaking complex text in English and Singlish. They should have a comfort with and aptitude for contemporary physical and vocal performance techniques.

We are looking to cast for the following role below.

Math teacher, in his 30s to 40s. A funny guy and a true friend. Has learned to draw boundaries in order to survive as a teacher. Must be able to sing and be very comfortable speaking colloquially.

Must be available from 23 Feb to 26 April 2026 for rehearsals and performances.
