The composition should authentically reflect the Renaissance tradition, drawing inspiration from masters such as de Lassus, Du Fay, des Prez, and Palestrina. The finished work will be performed by a men's schola, providing a valuable addition to the limited repertoire for this vocal configuration.
Deliverables
- Compose a Renaissance-style Mass for two equal voices, including all required movements (Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei)
- Ensure stylistic authenticity, referencing Renaissance composers and techniques
